CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. CARE has been on the ground in Haiti providing lifesaving aid to the survivors of the January 12 earthquake – the worst to hit the region in 200 years – that destroyed houses, killed tens of thousands and left thousands more homeless and injured.
CARE is distributing aid in Haiti right now.
Based on preliminary estimates, CARE has established the Haiti Emergency Response Fund, with a goal of raising $40 million to support our five-year response to provide immediate relief and longer-term rehabilitation. Your gift will help us address the needs of the survivors of this unprecedented disaster.
Tickets are $50 per person. Additional donations are welcome. Receipts for your donation will be provided by CARE after the event. If you cannot attend but would like to make a donation, please send a check made out to CARE to the 10th St address at the bottom of this page.
The ticket price includes a fixed menu with several choices, hors d’oeuvres, salad, entrée, dessert, and a soft drink. Tax and gratuity are included in the ticket price, but alcohol is not. A cash bar is available. A vegetarian entrée is also available.
Please feel free to invite anyone who may be interested in this event, Windsor Service, or CARE. If you have any questions or suggestions, Walter Overby at woverby@ix.netcom.com.
